FAQs

What is a non-diet dietitian?

It’s just that! Diets don’t work, and your body isn’t a problem that needs to be fixed. Our work together won’t be focused on weight loss or adhering to societal pressures regarding nutrition or body shape/size.

How many sessions will I need?

Every individual is unique, and I don’t implement nutrition therapy in a cookie cutter fashion. After we’ve gotten to know each other, you and I will determine a course of treatment based on your goals.

Do you take insurance?

No, at this time I am self-pay only. I am happy to provide a superbill for you to use to attempt to seek reimbursement from your insurance.

No Surprises Act - Good Faith Assessment

As of January 1, 2022, all healthcare providers are required to provide estimates for the costs of your care. You are entitled to receive a copy of your Good Faith Estimate (GFE) when you schedule an appointment, and/or upon request. The GFE shows the cost of items and services that are reasonably expected for your healthcare needs and treatment. This protects you from balance billing and other unexpected charges. You can read more about this here.

Can you see clients from states other than Colorado?

Yes! At this time, I am able to see clients virtually from the following states:

Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming

If you don’t see your state and are interested in services, please reach out for further information.
